Websites that take flight.

The Fly Pelican is a small web studio. We design your site, host it, keep it quick and make your changes, all for one monthly price.

Based in South Florida Working with businesses anywhere

A brown pelican can spot a fish from sixty feet up, fold its wings and hit the water headfirst. No circling for weeks. No committee.

We like that approach. Tell us what your business needs the website to do, and we’ll go get it: a clean, fast site that shows up when people search, looks right on a phone, and changes when your business does.

Then we stick around. Hosting, security, new hours, holiday specials, a fresh photo of the new truck. Send it over and it’s handled.

How we work

  1. Spot

We look at how customers find you today: your Google listing, your current site (if there is one), the competition down the road. Then we talk about what the site actually needs to do.

  2. Dive

We design and build it. You poke at it on your phone, tell us what feels off, and we tune it until it looks and sounds like your business.

  3. Float

It goes live on your domain. From then on we keep it hosted, secure and quick, and we make your changes. You get on with running the place.

One monthly price. The whole website.

  • Design made for your business, not picked from a template gallery
  • Phones first, because that’s where your customers are looking
  • Fast pages with no bloated page builder underneath
  • Hosting and SSL, the padlock in the address bar, set up and renewed
  • Your changes, made for you, with no logins to remember
  • Google Business Profile set up and linked to your site
  • Accessibility built in: readable contrast, keyboard-friendly, real text
  • Your domain in your name, in your own account. Always yours.

Pick your altitude.

Three plans, each one a monthly price that covers design, hosting and changes. Start where you are and move up when the website starts doing more of the work.

About “unlimited.” “Unlimited small edits” means changes to what’s already on your site: text, photos, hours, prices, specials. Each takes about half an hour or less, and we handle them one at a time. Bigger jobs, like a new feature or a redesign, get a quote first. If you’re regularly sending a lot, we’ll talk about which plan fits.

Third-party fees, like payment processing or a booking app’s subscription, are billed by those providers. Your domain is always registered in your name, on every plan.

Start your website.

Pick a plan, choose how you’d like to pay, and tell us about your business. It takes a few minutes.

Next comes our secure Stripe checkout. Nothing is charged until you confirm there. The Fly is quoted first, so there’s no payment today for it.

Just have a question? Use the contact form, or call or text (754) 600-1059.

1. Your plan
2. How you’d like to pay

Month-to-month: billed monthly, cancel anytime; your service runs to the end of the month you've paid for.

Prepaid year: 12 months paid upfront. It's non-refundable: if you cancel early, your site stays up and looked after until the paid 12 months end. It renews automatically for another prepaid 12 months at the regular yearly price in effect at renewal (we'll send you a reminder first); before the renewal date you can switch to month-to-month or cancel.

3. Your business

Brand add-ons (Logo Package, Brand Identity Kit) can be added at checkout on The Perch and The Dive, and are included with The Fly.

Here’s how we’d do a bakery.

Heron Hollow Bakery is made up. We designed it to show the kind of site we build: warm, quick, and clear about the three things people actually want to know (what’s good, when you’re open, how to order).

Real client work goes here as owners give us the OK to show it off.

Fair questions.

Straight answers to what business owners usually want to know. Something else on your mind? Just ask.

What does it cost to get started?

The Perch has no setup fee; The Dive has a one-time $99 setup fee; and The Fly is custom work, so we quote its setup for each project before anything starts (half at signing, half at launch). After that, it’s the monthly price for your plan.

Who owns my domain?

You do. Always. If you already own one, it stays yours, right where it is; we just need access to manage it. If you need a new one, it’s registered in your name, in your own account with the registrar, and you add us as a manager so we can set it up and look after it. If you ever leave, it’s still yours. Nobody holds it hostage.

What about my Google Business Profile?

Setup is included on every plan. You create or claim your profile on Google and complete Google’s verification (only the owner can), then add us as a manager. We fill in the rest: your hours, services, description, photos and a link to your new site.

Ongoing profile care, like monthly posts, photos and hours updates, is part of The Dive and The Fly. On The Perch, the profile is yours to keep up after setup.

What if I want to leave?

You can cancel anytime. Your service runs to the end of the billing month you’ve paid for, with no partial-month refunds. (If you paid for 12 months upfront, that payment isn’t refunded, and your site stays up and looked after until those 12 months end.) You keep your domain, your content and photos, and any logo or brand files you’ve paid for.

The website itself is part of your subscription. If you want to keep it, you can buy it out for six months of your plan’s regular price, and we’ll hand over the files and help you move it. Otherwise the site comes down when your service ends. (You can also buy out your site and stay with us on any plan.)

Is there a contract?

A short one, in plain English: our Client Service Agreement. It spells out your plan, what’s included, how changes work and how cancelling works. No surprises buried in the fine print.

You accept it with one click when you sign up. For larger projects on The Fly, we may also ask you to sign it.

You choose how to pay: month to month and cancel anytime, or 12 months paid upfront.

How fast are changes?

Within 24 hours on The Perch and The Dive, and the same business day on The Fly. Something wrong, like your phone number, hours or address, gets fixed the same business day on every plan.

You send requests through one simple form or email address, and you get a note when each one is done.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes, anytime, even in the middle of a prepaid 12 months; your prepaid term just keeps running. Plenty of businesses should start on The Perch and move up when the website starts bringing in real work.

Moving up adds the new plan’s setup fee: $99 for The Dive, or for The Fly a setup fee quoted for your project, half at signing and half at launch.

You can move down, too. Just know that a lower plan drops the features and upkeep that came with the higher one, like its edit allowance and turnaround.

Can I keep my domain and my business email?

Yes to both. We don’t need to transfer your domain; we point it at your new site. Your email stays with whoever provides it now, like Gmail or Outlook, and we copy over its settings (the MX records) before switching anything so it keeps working.

Can I get an email at my domain?

Yes. Every plan includes addresses like you@yourbusiness.com that forward to the inbox you already use, such as Gmail or Outlook.

Want a full mailbox you can send from, too? We can set up Google Workspace for you, billed by Google. And if you already have email at your domain, we won’t change that setup.

Do you only work with businesses in South Florida?

No. We’re based in South Florida, and that’s where we meet businesses in person, but we work with businesses anywhere. Everything else, from planning your site to sending changes, works the same by phone, email and our support form.

Do you write the words and take the photos?

We’ll draft the text with you, since you know your business better than anyone. We use your own photos or properly licensed ones, never photos lifted from somewhere else.

Let’s talk.

Tell us what you do and what you want the website to do for you. We’ll get back to you soon.
